Libyan Islamic Bank
An exhibition stand for the Libyan Islamic Bank that translates the institution’s character into spatial form. Layered arches and mashrabiya-pattern screens frame the open façade, semi-private meeting lounges sit behind them, and a central reception anchors the plan. The intent was to bring banking — a typology built for transaction — into the manners of hospitality.
The stand works in two depths . From the aisle it reads as one open façade, the arches and the screens doing the inviting; once inside, the plan narrows into lounges where a conversation about money can be had in private. The institution is present in the proportion and the pattern rather than in a wall of logos, and the visitor is received, not processed.
